Narrative

REACH is a small company which prides itself on the quality of service it provides to Early Intervention clients (birth-age 3), school aged children and young adults with autism spectrum disorders and to their families. REACH strives to deliver universally recognized methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), along with developmentally appropriate teaching practices. ABA utilizes the components of assessment, identification of objectives, systematic instruction and data analysis in order to teach functional skills. ABA methodology can provide instruction in a variety of areas including behavior, self-help, social skills, cognition, play, motor, and communication. Experience and research has shown that ABA strategies are effective in promoting the development of new skills. ABA instruction includes the techniques of discrete trial training for novel skill acquisition, as well as the use of incidental teaching procedures to promote maintenance and generalization of learned skills into the natural environment.

REACH serves families across Southeastern MA, including Cape Cod and the islands. All cases are overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). At REACH, family participation and carry over is the key to a consistent and successful intervention program!
