Insurance is complicated. Navigating insurance for someone with a disability increases that complexity and can be overwhelming.

We provide a vast range of technical assistance to families, providers, clinicians, educators, and others. We can help with everything from basic information about coverage and eligibility, to navigating complex problems. Were you told your disabled child isn’t eligible for MassHealth because you make too much money or have other insurance? Are you having difficulties finding a provider who takes your insurance? Are you having trouble affording co-pays for treatments? Did a provider advise you to drop private insurance in order to access behavioral treatments? Did you receive a confusing letter from MassHealth? We can also provide technical assistance and advice when coverage is changing – are you switching jobs? Is your child transitioning to adulthood? Do you have questions about Social Security affecting coverage?
