Narrative
The Intensive Flexible Family Support (IFFS) Program assists children ages 3 – 18 whose communication and behavior challenges make it difficult for the family to provide care. The goal of the program is to keep the child in his or her familiar environment rather than being placed in a residential program. During the 20+ years that FHHS has offered the IFFS program in Lawrence, Methuen, Haverhill and 68 cities and towns across Northeastern Massachusetts, 95% of the children served have been able to stay at home with their family.
