Narrative
Heartspring is a boarding/residential school for children who have special needs. The children we serve have developmental delays and intellectual disabilities, many within the autism spectrum. Most of the children at our school enroll, after being unsuccessful in their local school/community, due to their challenging behaviors that have negatively impacted their educational progress. Using an individualized team approach, our professionals design each child's program specifically for that child, to teach greater independence in life skills, communication, and to decrease the child's challenging behaviors.
